Accommodations
The Leopard 45’s award-winning interior design seamlessly blends comfort, functionality, and modern styling to create an exceptional liveaboard cruising platform. Bright, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged, the 3-cabin Owner’s version offers significantly more storage and private living space than the 4-cabin configuration, making it especially appealing to cruising couples and long-term voyagers.
Large panoramic windows surround the saloon, flooding the interior with natural light and providing nearly uninterrupted views of the surrounding seascape. Combined with the innovative forward cockpit access door — a signature Leopard feature — the result is an airy, open-concept living space that connects the interior with both the forward and aft outdoor entertaining areas.
Saloon & Galley
The spacious main saloon serves as the social heart of the yacht. A comfortable dining area to port provides ample seating for family and guests, while the surrounding windows create an inviting atmosphere whether enjoying meals, entertaining, or relaxing at anchor.
Forward of the saloon, direct access to the forward cockpit creates exceptional flow throughout the vessel.
To starboard, the modern L-shaped galley is designed for serious cruising and comfortable everyday living. Solid-surface countertops, abundant storage, quality appliances, and generous refrigeration capacity make meal preparation easy whether preparing a quick lunch at anchor or provisioning for extended passages. The open layout keeps the chef connected with guests while maintaining excellent functionality underway.
A dedicated forward-facing navigation station provides a practical workspace for voyage planning, navigation, communications, and vessel management… or simply as additional counterspace.
Owner’s Suite
Occupying the entire starboard hull, the owner’s suite provides a level of privacy and comfort rarely found aboard a vessel of this size.
The spacious aft owner’s cabin features a centerline queen berth, abundant natural light, excellent ventilation, and extensive storage throughout. Hanging lockers, shelving, cabinetry, and under-berth storage provide ample room for clothing, personal belongings, and cruising gear, making extended stays aboard both practical and comfortable. The current owners have mounted a flatscreen TV as well, providing separate entertainment in a private space.
Forward within the owner’s hull is a dedicated dressing area with additional storage and cabinetry, leading to a spacious private ensuite head. The ensuite features a marine bidet toilet, vanity, sink, and an exceptionally large separate shower stall, delivering a residential level of comfort seldom found aboard cruising catamarans. The on-board washing machine / dryer combo is also located in this area.
Guest Accommodations
The port hull is dedicated to guest accommodations and features two private cabins, each thoughtfully designed to provide comfort and privacy.
Both guest cabins are fitted with queen-size berths, hanging lockers, shelving, storage beneath the berths, and abundant natural light through opening hatches and portlights. Excellent ventilation and well-designed lighting create inviting spaces for family members or overnight guests.
Each guest cabin benefits from access to its own private head compartment, complete with marine toilet, vanity, sink, and separate shower area, ensuring guests enjoy the same comfort and convenience found throughout the vessel.
Comfort & Livability
Designed with extended cruising and liveaboard life in mind, the Leopard 45 excels at maximizing both living space and storage capacity. Thoughtful cabinetry, dedicated storage areas, and practical layouts throughout the vessel ensure there is a place for everything without compromising comfort or aesthetics.
Combined with its abundant natural light, excellent ventilation, spacious owner’s suite, and private guest accommodations, the Leopard 45’s three-cabin layout offers a rare combination of luxury, functionality, and cruising practicality. Whether used for coastal cruising, offshore adventures, or full-time life aboard, it remains one of the most desirable owner-focused layouts available in a cruising catamaran of this size.

Deck
The Leopard 45 is widely recognized for its intelligent use of space, exceptional outdoor living areas, and ease of handling, making it one of the most sought-after cruising catamarans in its class.
Designed to maximize comfort both underway and at anchor, the exterior layout offers multiple social areas, safe movement throughout the vessel, and outstanding visibility from the helm. Wide side decks, substantial stainless-steel lifelines, and secure handholds allow easy and confident movement from bow to stern.
Forward Cockpit & Foredeck
One of the Leopard 45’s signature features is its forward cockpit, seamlessly integrated into the bridge deck and accessible directly from the saloon. This unique space creates a private outdoor lounge area protected from wind and swell while underway and serves as an inviting retreat for morning coffee, sunset cocktails, or simply enjoying the view at anchor.
Forward, the large trampoline sections span the bow area, with two pulpit seats either side of the vessel, creating additional relaxation space and a favorite spot for enjoying ocean breezes while at anchor or under sail.
Robust mooring cleats and docking hardware are strategically positioned throughout the vessel, making docking and line handling straightforward in a variety of conditions.
Aft Cockpit & Outdoor Living
The expansive aft cockpit serves as the primary outdoor entertaining area and, like the forward cockpit, blends seamlessly with the interior saloon through wide sliding doors. This open-concept design creates a remarkable indoor-outdoor living environment, ideal for cruising couples, families, and guests.
The transom stainless steel railing incorporates cavities suitable for clean and secure stowage of either cylindrical fenders or SCUBA tanks while underway. All in all, protected seating, generous deck space, and easy access to the transoms make the cockpit equally suited for dining, relaxing, water sports, or managing the vessel underway.
Swim Platforms & Water Access
The Leopard 45’s open transom design enhances both functionality and enjoyment on the water. Integrated swim platforms on both port and starboard sides provide convenient access for swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, and dinghy operations.
Wide molded steps and a boarding ladder allow guests to move easily between the yacht and the water, making the vessel exceptionally well suited for tropical cruising and life at anchor.
Helm Station & Sail Handling
The raised starboard helm station provides commanding visibility around the vessel while maintaining easy communication with guests in both the cockpit and saloon. Accessed directly from the cockpit, the helm is designed with short-handed sailing in mind, placing sail controls, winches, engine controls, and navigation equipment within easy reach of the operator.
This thoughtful arrangement allows a cruising couple to confidently manage the yacht while enjoying excellent sightlines under sail or during docking maneuvers.
The deck-stepped rig and well-organized sail handling systems contribute to the Leopard 45’s reputation as a capable yet easy-to-manage cruising catamaran, whether island hopping, coastal cruising, or undertaking longer offshore passages.
Systems Access & Practicality
Engine compartments are conveniently accessed through large transom hatches, providing excellent access for routine inspections and maintenance. The well-organized machinery spaces are insulated for reduced noise and heat transfer, contributing to a quieter and more comfortable onboard experience.
