Ultra-Portable Storage

No need for the hassle of a trailer or the cost of storage. Pack down the boat into two carry bags and throw it in the trunk, closet, or overhead compartment. The carry bags are vented, so you can even store it wet and it stays fresh.

Easy-to-Row

Durable PVC or Hypalon* material construction and the sleek Tube Transom® keeps the boat lightweight, making it easy to pilot with the included oars. External oar rowlocks and Velcro straps ensure your oars stay on board with you.

Fast-Draining Removable Tube Transom®

The revolutionary removable Tube Transom® allows the deck to drain continuously, so the boat never holds water. Lightweight stainless steel construction on the tube makes the boat 15 lbs lighter than traditional inflatable boats.

Fast & Stable Catamaran Design

The lightweight catamaran style and aerodynamic tapered bow of Takacat glides over the water for smooth, fast travel. The high pressure air deck with non-skid coating creates a rigid platform to keep passengers and cargo steady on the water.

Durable Single-Seam Construction

The hulls are constructed with a single seam, rather than the double seams on standard inflatables. Less seam work minimizes the likelihood of damage at the weakest spots of the boat. The seams use a chemically bonded gluing system for durability against brittleness.

Easy-Entry Open Bow Design

The open bow (in the LX series), raised deck and rigid air deck floor makes boarding passengers and cargo effortless from beach, dock, and even a larger vessel. Combined with the shallow draft of the boat, entry and exit from the water is just as simple, even for small children and pets.

The T260S is the ultimate lightweight watercraft for use as a tender or personal boat that can carry a couple while also maximizing onboard space. The T260S is nearly identical to the T260LX but with a closed bow. This extra bow space and buoyancy really helps maximize onboard space in this economy-sized boat.

Complete with everything you love about the larger Takacat boats, the T300S is the ultimate micro adventure boat. The T300S features a 4” wider floor than the T300LX and T260S which pairs nicely with the closed bow for use as a fishing boat for a couple adults or just a roomier tender.

Enough room for the whole family! The T340S has plenty of room for passengers and gear without sacrificing portability or packability. 

This workhorse of the Sport lineup is great in both work and play. Still easily packable, but with enough storage and capacity to really make sense to keep on hand. If you are seeking the ideal blend of performance and portability, you’ve found it.

The T260LX is the go-anywhere ultra-compact boat. Portability and lightweight make it an ideal small watercraft for couples or solo boaters for fishing, and perfect for storage in an RV or larger vessel as a tender. Small size makes it a breeze to inflate and be out on the water in minutes.

Packed full of the innovative features that define Takacat, the Takacat T300LX is the flagship tender and most popular smaller day boat in the Takacat LX range. This boat has repeatedly proven to be a truly fun and reliable tender by thousands of passionate boaters.

The innovative design and rugged performance of Takacat meet in the perfectly midsize T340LX. With plenty of room for the family, or just enough for a couple friends, fishing gear and a cooler, the T340 LX is the versatile do-it-all boat for a day on the water.

There’s no doubt why the Takacat 380LX is a family favorite. The large roomy deck provides plenty of the space for the whole crew and the ride is supremely stable. It’s the perfect watercraft for fishing, swimming, diving, hunting, or just a day of cruising.

The Takacat 420LX combines all the distinctive features of the Takacat line with an extra wide platform, making it a workhorse on the water. The wide platform means the boat can hold up to 7 people. Even with all the extra room, it stills packs down to fit in the trunk.
