SAN CARLOS, SONORA

Omega peterson formorsa 45

The Peterson Formosa 45 (a.k.a. Omega 45) is unique among sailing vessels, highly sought after, and this particular yacht is especially so. She was hull #11 from a run of only 15 boats built for the Smith-Herbert brokerage in Seattle. The hull was hand laid in the Peterson Formosa 46 mold in Taiwan. Smith-Herbert had an American surveyor supervise the construction of the entire run.

This particular Peterson Formosa 45 has already circumnavigated, and is a proven bluewater survivor, SV Bluefoot having been a cruising/liveaboard/adventure vessel for 30 years. She has circumnavigated the globe slowly over 17 years, sailing well over 70,000 miles and been admired by many a friend or stranger who stop to look. She is a strong well-built boat, taken very good care of. She now needs a new owner to go adventuring with her, so check out her full inventory and don’t miss out on this beautiful yacht!

This vessel is located in beautiful San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico, a short 250 mile drive on a safe 4-lane highway from Nogales, Az. San Carlos is a known boating destination/community, featuring breathtaking scenery, quiet anchorages nearby, great fishing, diving, two marinas, 3 haul out facilities and much more.

Welcome aboard S/V Bluefoot, a unique (Omega) Peterson Formosa 45. She has circumnavigated and is a proven bluewater cruiser fit for worldwide adventuring.
